Angels for the Animals

It’s that time of the year again! My fifteenth year of "Angels for the Animals" fundraising is in full swing.

My team of volunteer artists and I have been working all year, hand-crafting unique, beautiful gifts to sell to help animals and their rescue organizations. I asked myself why I was working like a dog to create art for animals, and I remembered an extraordinary quote from Mother Teresa. She said, “Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love”. Repeating this quote helps me understand why I’m passionate about making art for animals and know that I have to keep it going as long as possible.

 This year, proceeds will be donated to Ginger’s Pet Rescue (I will write more about this animal rescue organization, from which my dog Momo came, in an upcoming post.)
